After the email was added, we would sync their contacts / email / calendars then go in and make sure they understood how to change the default calendar from the iOS one to the outlook one (and vice versa). That is pretty straight forward, other than in my case the username was their email address again (I haven't worked at the job in over 8 months now so my memory may be a bit suspect, but that's the overall gist of it). We would just go into their settings > accounts > email > add account > Exchange/Office 365 and set up their emails directly on their phones which seemed to really help. I can also tell you that we never used the Office apps on the iphones. You mention you have everyone on the OWA, should I make the assumption you aren't setting up outlook on p.c.s for these users? It was like everything just needed time to settle in. I have seen 5 shared calendars take over 48 hours to sync in outlook. There is a TON of back and forth going on between Outlook, the OWA, and everyone who is connecting (to that particular shared calendar). The more people who are sharing and syncing the calendar, more issues seem to happen. We fought the calendar sync issue constantly. On iPhones you are lucky for it to be wonky at best. Well, here is what I can tell you from experience dealing with office 365 within the 3rd largest school district in the state. The only solution I've come up with is create a group box and use another licenses then sign in people on there phones with the secondary account and load that account up with any calendars they may need on the go. only my calendarsĭoes anyone have any solutions or have you run up against something similar? But when they look on there phones using the Outlook app they can no longer see the shared calendars or group calendars. I've got almost all of the users on Outlook Web Access and things are going good, users are creating groups and sharing calendars and they have no problems viewing groups or shared calendars from OWA.

We've just switched over from a terrible POP email solution hosted from our ISP to Office 365's exchange online plan (plan #2).
